Memphis rapper Big Scarr had a sudden demise which led his fan in shock. The rapper at 22 passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022. His death news was confirmed by Gucci Mane in a heartfelt Instagram post. Big Scarr was signed to rapper Gucci Mane’s record label and was all set to go on tour with Key Glock as part of his ” Glockoma Tour 2023″.

Gucci Mane in his Instagram posted a picture of Big Scarr captioning – “This hurts,” Gucci Mane posted. “I miss you.”

Cause of the Death

The Rapper’s cause of death is however unknown, no further statements are released for the cause of his death. Memphis rapper Scarr’s death follows the murder of two other Memphis rappers, Young Dolph and Snootie Wild. The former was killed on November 17, 2021, at Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies in Memphis and the latter was shot dead on February 25 in Houston. Although according to the speculations of the social media reports Scarr was shot dead in Memphis. However, it is not confirmed so we cannot say it exactly. We will update you as soon as we get any further details about the cause of his death.

Memphis rapper Big Scarr original name Alexander Woods made his commercial debut in July 2020 on The New 1017 compilation album Gucci Mane Presents: So Icy Summer with “SolcyBoyz” alongside Pooh Shiesty and Foogiano and also appeared on the solo track ” Make A Play” in which he was one of only three artists to appear alone on a track across the entire project.

According to his official website, the same year the rapper was shot in the hip after which the bullet travelled to his chest. The rapper quoted-

“I was moving, so the bullet kept moving too,” he’s quoted as explaining in his bio. “The doctors had to split me down the middle to save me. My insides got messed up, and they had to remove my appendix, so I could walk again. I recovered and bounced back way quicker than I thought though”.

Big Scarr releases his debut mixtape in 2021s Big Grim Reaper, in which Gucci, Foogiano, Pooh Shiesty and producer Tay Keith made their appearances. The project was numbered 25 on Billboard’s Hot 200 album chart and number 1 on Rolling Stone’s Breakthrough 25 Chart. Big Scarr for his project received his first Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America.

Big Scarr this month announced his first national tour, Glockoma Tour with Key Glock and was ready to kick off on 5 March 2023. But it seems that destiny had other plans for the rapper. we thus express our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. May his soul rest in peace.
