“He adored his mom and had dogs,” family friend Erica Gettemy added. “He was a good little boy.” He was a Greyhound from Monessen. He was a huge football fan. He was simply a kind guy. He was a decent young man. He wasn’t a braggart. He was focused entirely on his mother. He was only concerned with doing what was necessary for his mother.”  “I’ve never heard anything negative about him, and I’m acquainted with his cousins and family.” I went to the gym with his mother downtown. That is her sole child.” According to the Monessen School District’s Facebook page, the district had a two-hour delay on Wednesday.

Investigation Is In Process:

A 16-year-old man was shot in the upper abdomen, according to Monessen police. Later, the police admitted that his injuries were the cause of his death. Monessen Superintendent Robert Motte told Channel 11: “The person involved in a tragic event on Tuesday evening is a Monessen High School student.” We developed a 2-hour delay schedule to ensure that our instructors and staff were prepared to deal with the incident.
