What Happened to Hannah Cole?
Hannah Cole’s waters broke, and she was rushed to Bradford Royal Infirmary on October 9 owing to bleeding at the 22-week mark of her pregnancy. Doctors notified the 26-year-old the next day that they couldn’t find a heartbeat and that her unborn baby had died, according to Wales Online. The expecting mother was scheduled to be induced on October 11, but when she arrived, she stated that her unborn son was still alive.
Hannah Cole Asked For a Baby Scan:
Ms Cole then requested a second scan and was informed that her baby had a heartbeat. The woman, whose pregnancy is still ongoing, described the hospital’s blunder as a “rollercoaster of emotions” for her. Following the event, the hospital began an investigation, and a Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust spokeswoman apologised to Miss Cole for her discomfort. “It’s been a rollercoaster of emotions for me,” the expecting mother, whose due date is February 9, 2023, said. When I was told it would change my life, it was terrifying.
Now Baby is Healthy:
“It’s been completely insane. I’m not sure how they got it wrong. “Being taught multiple things in the space of a week has left me perplexed. It’s been quite stressful. I was now pleased with the outcome. “It had been a very emotional couple of days. It was really a relief to hear that everything was well.” She continued, saying: “I knew he was still alive because I could still feel his movements. When they first told me, I was very distraught.” Ms Cole described her child as a “little fighter” who is well.
