Nigeria Professional football league was in a state of shock at the death of his another promising striking player, Ebuka Odenigbo. The footballer a day before Christmas passed away leaving shocked everyone. The striker player dies within three days of Katsina and Nasarawa passing away after suffering from a headache. Ebuka’s death was just over a year after his brother Kelvin died in Belarus. Kelvin like his younger brother was also a striker in Belarus. The 21-year-old footballer impressed everyone with his tactics of playing the game since his joining 2018 Sai Masu Gida.
Cause of Death Explained
The cause of his death is not confirmed yet but according to sources, the footballer died after complaining of a fever. The statement made by the sources said: “After complaining of fever, his illness appeared severe and was rushed to the hospital on Friday night where he gave up,” However Kano Pillars have not made any official statement regarding the cause of his death.
Things to Know About the Kano Pillars Striker, Ebuka Odenigbo
Odenigbo prior to making to a professional football player played for the University of Agriculture Makurdi. His signature was battled by Kano Pillars and Enyimba in 2019. The striking player in his short career span won National Federation Cup, which is now known as AITEO Cup.
