‘John Wick 4’: Longest Run-Time, How Many Minutes is the New Sequel?

‘John Wick 4’ is so far one of the most successful first-person shooter movies in the present time. With the intense action and suspense, it brought to the audience, no wonder why a fourth installment will be released on May 24, 2023.

The new installment of the action-packed movie will be more intense this time considering that Donnie Yen will be joining as part of the new cast.

Keanu Reeves will still lead the movie and other original characters during the ‘John Wick 1, 2, and 3’ will stay. However, it is still not clear if the role of Donnie Yen- who is also an action star- whether will be an enemy or an ally.

Meanwhile, the official teaser trailer of “John Wick 4′ has already been released. Though it is only for about more than a minute it has already captured the eyes of its fans.

How Long is the ‘John Wick 4’?

In a published article in IGN Southeast Asia, director Chad Stahelski said that this is so far the longest installment in the franchise. He said during an exclusive interview, “It’s longer than the other three, but not that long.”

John Wick was about 101 minutes, John Wick 2 was 122 minutes, and John Wick 3 was 131 minutes. This means that John Wick 4 is expected to be more than 2 hours and 12 minutes. For sure this will not waste your time because of the star-studded cast and the recent glimpse of a fight between John Wick and Donnie Yen in the official teaser trailer.

Progress of the ‘John Wick 4’

It cannot be denied that John Wick has one of the best VFX and effects. According to Director Chad Stahelski, they are now on the final stretch of editing. He also mentioned that they still have Tyler Bates for the composition of the bigger sequences, COLLIDER reports.

Stahelski said “We’re on the final stretch for picture lock, and then we have our VFX music. But this is the furthest along I’ve ever been, this much in post. We love the music that we’ve got so far. We still have Tyler Bates doing the composition on some of the bigger sequences,” Further, it sounds like ‘John Wick 4’ is almost done.
