The Golden Bachelor’s Theresa Nist and Gerry Turner Tied the knot on Thursday night.
Theresa Nist is 70 years old and Gerry Turner is 72 years old. They got engaged on the first season of the Bachelor spinoff. They exchanged vows Thursday night in a live, televised ceremony led by fan-favorite Susan Noles at the La Quinta Resort and Club in La Quinta, California.
Just before the ceremony began the bride, wearing a beautiful Badgley Miska gown, was accompanied down the aisle by her son Tom.
Susan Noles said- “I can’t even tell you how excited I am right now and so grateful to welcome you all here to celebrate this love that these two have found.”
“For those of you who don’t know me, I just don’t know why. I’m Susan, the shy, quiet one on the show.”
Noles said that she believed that “fate” brought them together, continuing, “30,000 people and you were both chosen to be on The Golden Bachelor.”
“You have both given us all so much hope that it is never, ever too late to find love.”
Before marrying Gerry Turner, Theresa Nist was married to William Nist with whom she had a 42-year relationship. William Nist died in 2014.
Gerry Turner was also married before. Gerry Turner was previously married to Toni and had a 43-year relationship. But in 2017, Gerry Turner’s wife Toni died due to illness.
