Relatives of the family who were abducted and killed are being remembered nearly a year after the tragedy in Merced Family County.

Amandeep Singh and Jasdeep Singh, his wife Jasleen Kaur, and their eight-month-old infant Aroohi Dheri were all taken hostage from a company on Dickenson Ferry Road on October 3, 2022.
The four were eventually located close to Dos Palos in an orchard.
The killings, according to the authorities, were committed by Jesus Manuel Salgado and his brother, Alberto Salgado, both former employees of the family’s trucking business.
Search Underway for Abducted Merced Family
Four family members who were abducted from a company are being sought for by Merced County deputies. At the junction of South Highway 59 and Dickenson Ferry Road in Merced County on Monday afternoon.
Jasdeep Singh, 36, Jasleen Kaur, 27, and their eight-month-old kid Aroohi Dheri are wanted by the authorities.
Amandeep Singh, the infant’s 39-year-old uncle, is also wanted.
According to detectives, the family was abducted early yesterday afternoon from a place of business.
A CAL FIRE Madera-Mariposa-Around 11:39 a.m. on Monday, Merced reported receiving a report of a car on fire. They sent a team to the scene and later discovered the burning vehicle to be a black 2020 Dodge Ram Truck.
After arriving to conduct an investigation, the California Highway Patrol in Merced quickly asked the Merced Police Department for help. to get in touch with Amandeep Singh, the truck’s legal owner.
According to MPD, when they got to Amandeep’s house, they could only get through to a relative. Amandeep, Jasleen, and Jasdeep were all unreachable by the family.
Around 1:14 p.m., MPD contacted the Merced County Sheriff’s Office. After they were unable to contact the family, they filed a missing persons report for the four members.
When MCSO arrived, they determined that the family had been abducted. They have made public images of the man they think is the culprit.
