Malana Patricia Weaver was found dead

Malana Patricia Weaver from Powhatan, who had been missing, now found dead by searchers at Tucker Park near James River on Wednesday. According to Powhatan County Sheriff’s Office, Malana Patricia Weaver, 70, was reported missing on Tuesday. She was seen last leaving her house on Monday while her car was found near Tucker Park on Tuesday.

According to the police officers, witnesses saw her strolling near the James River on Tuesday. According to some local news, the search team spent hours finding Miss Malana Patricia Weaver, with the help of boats and a helicopter, to search the whole riverside area. The medical team will receive the body of Miss Malana to find the root cause of her death.

What happened to Malana Patricia Weaver

Earlier, when The Powhatan County Sheriff’s Office was seeking assistance in attempting to locate a missing adult, the information about Malana Patricia Weaver missing was received by the Powhatan County Sheriff’s office on December 27 at 6 AM. Miss left her house and her car at Tucker Park in Goochland County; however, later, her vehicle was discovered by the Police.

At that time, The Goochland County Sheriff’s Office and Virginia State Police are helping in the search. They also open the contact details to get any information. They write, “Contact Detective Riopedre at 804-598-5656 if you have any information about Malana Patricia Weaver’s location”.

A statement released by the Powhatan Sheriff’s Office “It is with heavy hearts that we report Malana Patricia Weaver of Powhatan has been located deceased in the James River by Goochland County Fire Rescue personnel. The cause and manner of death will be determined by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. We ask that you please keep Malana’s family in your thoughts and prayers and respect their privacy during this incredibly difficult time.”

The Powhatan County Sheriff’s Office, with the help of the Goochland County Sheriff’s Office, Virginia State Police, the Chesterfield County Police and the Virginia Conservation Police, gave their effort to search for 70-year-old Malana Patricia Weaver of Powhatan. According to police, she left her house on 26 December while her vehicle was found in Tucker park near Goochland County on 27 December 2022.

Some witnesses reported that she was walking near the James River in Tucker Park on 27 December. Weaver was 70 years old and needed the daily medication that day.
