Reality Star Jordan Cashmyer’s Family Reveals Her Tragic Cause of Death

Family Explains Jordan’s Cause of Death

In a recently published article in FOX News, her family explained that on January 15, 2022, at the age of 26, their daughter Jordan sadly passed away. Leaving a six-month-old daughter behind. Many families are affected by addiction, and theirs was no exception. They also complimented Jordan’s exuberance and vivacity as a person.

Those who knew her well remember her for her laugh and charming grin. Their family is devastated and will miss Jordan for the rest of their lives. After raising their granddaughter, they now confront the dismal prospect that she will never be able to share memories with her mother or father, never having the opportunity to get to know them.

Moreover, her fiancé, Cashmyer’s fiancé, also died of drug addiction, leaving the couple’s six-month-old baby in the care of no one. She first posted the news of her death on his Facebook page, where Cashmyer’s mother had shared it. Medical examiners from the Maryland Department of Health verified the reality star’s death.

Custody To Her Daughter

In 2014, Cashmyer starred on the program, which recorded her pregnancy with her then-boyfriend Derek Taylor, according to the publication Deadline. After being rejected by her parents, who disapproved of her relationship with Taylor, the two were unable to obtain jobs and hence housing. Genevieve “Evie” Shae Taylor was born as a result of her mother’s labor.

Cashmyer turned up her daughter’s custody rights to Taylor’s mother in 2015 after years of fighting. According to the publication, she was detained in 2017 on suspicion of cocaine possession. However, she seemed to be celebrating one year of recovery in January of 2021.
