According to the U.S Sun report,  adults and children with disabilities who have income below certain financial limits are eligible for Supplementary Security Income (SSI). The monthly maximum for SSI is now $841 per month for an individual in 2022, up from $794 in 2021, according to the SSI.

SSI beneficiaries will receive an additional $821 in addition to their forthcoming installments. Due to the new COLA and the holidays, these claimants received two checks in December and February 1.

On January 19, millions of Social Security recipients in the United States got $1,657 checks. Also, those who are born between January 11 and January 20 receive their benefits on the third Wednesday of each month.

From $1,282 to $1,358 per month, the average monthly payment for disabled workers will increase by $76. People with disabilities who are unable to work at all or in the same capacity as before are eligible for SSDI benefits.
