The Supplemental Security Income (SSI) has good news for every eligible American, reported by “The U.S Sun“. Every recipient will get an additional $821 boost as part of the COLA incensement.
Furthermore, the SSI claimants got two checks in December reflecting the new cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) because of the holiday schedule, and they have another one coming on February 1.
The Social Security Administration (SSA), release an update stating that the monthly maximum for SSI is now $841 per month for an individual in 2022, compared to the 2021 worth $794 check release. On Wednesday, millions of people received worth $1,657 as part of the new Social Security checks.

The date and checks release will depend on your birthday, and for those birthdays at the end of the month will have to wait a little longer to receive the money. On January 12, those people born on the first through the 10th of the month will get their first amended checks. On the other hand, those born in the middle of the month, from the 11th to the 20th, will get their checks on January 19. Moreover, those born between the 20th of the month onwards can expect their checks on January 26.
Checks will be mailed on the second, third, and fourth Wednesdays of each month for the person whose birthdays fall at the beginning, middle, and end of the month. The retired worker’s monthly check will now increase from $1,565 to $1,657 per month due to the COLA’s new hikes, Additionally, Seniors can also apply to Social Security and SSI benefits.
