Born in Michigan on October 14, 1956, Jennell Jaquays became passionate in role-playing games, science fiction, and fantasy gaming while attending college. Her foray into the gaming industry began when she co-founded The Dungeoneer, a magazine that provided adventures for Game Masters.

Her substantial contributions to Dungeons & Dragons modules such as Dark Tower and Caverns of Thracia were among her many achievements. Jaquays built a name for herself in video game creation. She was working on popular titles for Coleco’s home arcade system, such as Pac-Man and Donkey Kong. She has worked on critically praised games such as Age of Empires, Quake II, and Quake III Arena.
