On July 22, 2010, it was shared that Watson joined World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). In a chat in 2016, Watson told a cool story about how he got the job. He arrived in Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW), where WWE trains new wrestlers without prior notice in hopes of becoming wrestlers. Guess who was there? His future partner in The New Day, Kofi Kingston. Kofi had previously met him in 2007 when Watson did the same job at DSW. What a coincidence!
Then, on April 6, 2014, Woods wrestled his first match at WrestleMania, a major WWE event. He was in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal but did not win. After that, he teamed up with R-Truth to take on Alexander Rusev but unfortunately lost. After that, his team kind of broke up.
Later, in July, Woods noticed that his friends Big E and Kofi Kingston were having difficulty winning matches. So, he came to talk to him on an episode of Raw. Woods said it was their time to shine and suggested forming a team. Big E and Kofi agreed, and in the next main event, Woods managed to give them major victories over Heath Slater and Titus O’Neil.
In 2023, during the WWE Draft, Woods and Kingston were drafted to the Raw brand.
