Recently, the news of Ryan Minor’s death is coming out. Ryan Minor died on December 22, 2023, at the age of 49. Ryan was fighting the battle of his life against cancer for a long time but on December 22, he lost his battle with colon cancer. Ryan Minor’s cause of death was colon cancer.
In late October 2022, Ryan was diagnosed with colon cancer. Ryan got himself admitted into hospice care in November 2023. A month before Ryan’s death, the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame announced that Ryan would be inducted in 2024.
The University of Oklahoma (where Ryan played basketball and baseball) confirmed Ryan’s death in a tweet and paid tribute. The Orioles released their statement on social media.
