Before the end of the year, some Americans will get another wave of stimulus checks valued at up to $1,100.
$1,100 Stimulus Checks
In a recently published article in The U.S. Sun, the stimulus checks are part of the Golden State Stimulus II program administered by the state. The most recent round of checks was mailed to 803,000 people. When you get your check it is determined on the method of refund you choose for your 2020 tax return.
If you choose direct deposit, the funds should be in your account within a few days. It may take up to three weeks to receive funds from a cheque. To be eligible for stimulus benefits, your taxes must have been submitted before October 15, 2021.
Additionally, your California adjusted gross income must be between $1 and $75,000 to be eligible. This is just for residents of California during the pandemic. You must have been a resident of the state for at least half of 2020 and be a current resident at the time the payment is made.
When To Receive the $1,100 Stimulus Checks
Over nine million payments are scheduled to be made, leaving over 1.7 million outstanding. Checks are distributed every two weeks, and the bulk of direct deposits were distributed in October.
The latest batch of checks is being sent to residents with zip codes 585-719. Checks will be sent to zip codes ending in 720-927 from December 13 to December 31. And the last round will take place between December 27 and January 11, 2022, for zip codes 929-999.
