A Pair of Rulings by Separate Federal Judges

The Biden’s vaccine mandate was halted for a time being with a pair of ruling by the separate federal judge. The first ruling was addressed by a federal judge based in  Louisiana who effectively blocked the vaccine mandate for health workers across the country at hospitals that take federal funds. while the other ruling, by a Kentucky-based federal judge, paused the administration’s vaccine mandate for federal contractors in the states of Kentucky, Ohio, and Tennessee.

Furthermore, the developments are just the latest in a strand of legal setbacks for President Biden as his administration equivocated endlessly in an attempt to seek blunt to put an edge on the global pandemic that has already killed more than 750,000 people in the U.S.

The ruling from the judge based in Louisiana takes sides with the Monday decision by another Missouri federal judge, who obstructs the order for health workers in 10 states. The ruling effectively extended on Tuesday to freeze nationwide.

The health worker mandate, that applies to health care facilities that receive Medicaid or Medicaid, was raised in lawsuits soon after an agency under the Department of Health and Human Services rolled out the rule earlier this month.

The rulings against health worker mandate both cited concerns that the policy could lead to staffing shortages given the number of vaccine-opposed workers affected

The Biden’s Administration Faces Challenges by the Mandating Rule

The mandate faces several challenges from both the left and the right attacks from the concerned citizens. In addition, affected states of the mandate rule argue that the government is overreacting, while liberal groups and labor unions claim the mandate does not go far enough to preserve employees in workplaces that do not fall within the mandate’s parameters.

The Biden administration had argued that the mandate is necessary to slow the spread of COVID-19 among millions of health care workers, Medicare, and Medicaid patients especially this time, a newly coronavirus threat that has been detected, a variant poses to be a high risk which is already starting to spread globally although the Omicron is not yet detected in the U.S. still the  President urges everyone to be vaccinated and get a booster for eligible people to be protected at all times.
