The Administration’s Vaccine Rule
The implementation was mandated by the Biden’s Administration it appeals to more than 17 million health care workers around 76,000 facilities that take part in paying from Medicare or Medicaid, such as hospitals, nursing homes, dialysis centers, ambulatory surgical centers, and home health agencies. Thus, they set a deadline for workers to be fully vaccinated by January 4.
Moreover, the order was abruptly halted down by the judge’s preliminary injunction against the administration’s enforcement of the vaccine requirement with 10 states that sued the Biden’s Administration rule including Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Nebraska, Wyoming, South Dakota, and Alaska
District Judge Matthew Schelp, a Trump appointee personnel, appears to be convinced by the states’ argument regarding the rule that might lead to staff shortages. Furthermore, the ruling handed a temporary win – while the case proceeds – to vaccine-opposed workers at health care facilities that receive Medicaid or Medicaid funding in the 10 states.
The White House established a report with around 96 percent of the federal employee had already followed the ordered and complied with the vaccination requirement to be done prior to the deadline, while the other workers who have not complied with the mandate will start an “education and counseling” program, which will be followed by additional enforcement steps or worse termination.
Hence, the officials have repeatedly said the deadline is not the edge of it. On Monday, a spokesperson for the Office of Management and Budget said that federal workers will not be punished for failing to comply with the vaccination requirement until next year.

In addition, it also set as protection for everyone against the ongoing pandemic, most especially with the new strain the Omicron variant that urges people globally to be fully vaccinated. Although, the Attorneys for the Department of Justice, which argued the case for the administration, did not immediately respond when asked if they intend to appeal.
