Joe and Jill Biden Meet and Greet Coast Guard on Thanksgiving Day

Biden is Thankful for U.S. Coast Guards

President Joe Biden traveled Massachusetts in Nantucket to stop by and meet the U.S. Coast Guard service members just to express their gratitude during the Thanksgiving holiday mass.

As Biden went at the Coast Guard station for more than an hour inside, the Biden’s reaches outside to also greet the 20 service members in uniform for the service they render in the country, the President wishes them a happy Thanksgiving while handing them over some challenge coins. Moreover, they gather for a group photo.

The Bidens Participated in a Video Call

According to the White House aide, upon their arrival, the Bidens also hold a virtual call with service members representing the six branches of the military as the president together with his first lady to thank the service of military members and their families. According to first lady Jill Biden, her thanksgiving pre-recording message posted on Thursday expressed their gratitude this year. “While we all celebrate, many of those military families will be apart from their loved ones. Whether your partner will be deployed or have settled into another base, the holidays aren’t just the same without the people and the communities that make this holiday so special. We are so much thankful for your service to render ”she said.

The Biden Family

Every holiday the Biden family is always spotted together in most events. This year The Biden’s traditional thanksgiving for over 46 years including President’s children and grandchildren will be spending the holiday just off the coast of Massachusetts on the island of Nantucket. They are scheduled on Wednesday to stay at the waterfront home of a close friend to the Bidens family friend, a billionaire and philanthropist David Rubenstein.
