Residents Who Will Receive $1,100 Stimulus Checks

In a recently published article in The Sun, as part of the state’s Golden State Stimulus package, eligible California citizens will get a fresh financial boost this week. Direct deposit payments will begin on October 29 and mailed checks will begin on November 1st, according to the FTB.

Those who meet the criteria but do not have children will earn $600, while those who do will receive $1,100. The first batch of 600,000 payments was sent on August 27, and the second group, which was distributed on September 17, was substantially bigger, with at least 2 million Californians getting the benefit. Approximately two-thirds of California taxpayers will get a $600 payout, with some families receiving an extra $500.

These state-only payments are part of the $100 billion “California Comeback Plan,” which aims to provide immediate assistance to those individuals and businesses who have been worst hit by the pandemic. It was dubbed “the largest state tax refund in American history” by Gov. Gavin Newsom’s administration, according to a published article in CBS News.

Is There a Fourth Stimulus Check in Infrastructure Bill?

There’s a slight possibility that citizens throughout the country may get a fourth government stimulus check before the end of the year since the Biden administration has spent substantial time and effort drafting a new infrastructure package but is not intended for any form of stimulus.

The $1 trillion infrastructure plan was voted by the House of Representatives 228-206 on November 5, 2021. Because the House of Representatives and Senate are just two weeks into their 2021 sessions, the chances of a fourth federal stimulus are slim, therefore Americans will have to depend on state governments for relief
