Police believe a body discovered near a river near the Harlow border is that of a missing individual. On Saturday, officers were sighted near the A414 beside the River Stort. On the Harlow border, Hertfordshire Police and East of England Ambulance Service Trust personnel were observed. A cordon was in place while emergency services arrived. Detectives have linked the discovery to the search for Christopher, 62, of Hertfordshire, who has been missing since the beginning of the month. The death is not being investigated at this time. He was last seen in Puckeridge at midnight on Wednesday, February 1. He was described as white, 5 feet 8 inches tall, with curly hair and a medium build. According to authorities, he was last seen wearing a light grey wool sweater, blue jeans, and brown shoes. He might also ride a black mountain bike with red writing on it. Police have asked for the public’s help in finding him.

Christopher, 62, of Puckeridge, was discovered dead on February 4, 2023, according to Herts police.
