Upon entering, the individual went straight to the restroom. Shortly after, the same person was caught on camera leaving the bathroom wearing a white sweater. They then assaulted the shopkeeper. A regular client discovered the crime scene after discovering Chaudhari in a pool of blood and reporting it to authorities. According to first responders, the 37-year-old suffered multiple stab wounds. His face was taped up with red duct tape. The thief was also seen on camera swiping money from the register and lottery tickets from the counter.

Dahyabhai Kalidas Chaudhari Murder Spot Has Some Evidence:

Authorities quickly identified the murderer as a young black woman with bleached blonde hair using CCTV images from the store and adjacent locations. A cell phone found at the crime scene was also used to confirm the women’s identity as Detroit-based performer Skyy Raven Marie Mims. On March 12, she was arrested in Bartow County.

Skyy Raven Marie Mims Was Sentenced To Lifetime Prison:

Prosecutors said at Skyy’s 2018 trial that she was obsessed with winning the jackpot and stabbed Dahyabhai Kalidas Chaudhari to death out of despair. The defence, on the other side, depicted her as mentally sick. Skyy’s father also said during the trial that he had previously checked her into a psychiatric hospital, but she checked out and left Detroit to seek a career in hip-hop. Skyy was eventually convicted guilty of murder, armed robbery, second-degree burglary, criminal possession of a pistol or knife, and theft by bringing stolen property into the state. She was sentenced to life in prison without the chance of parole.
