Buffalo’s blistering blizzard had taken away the life of a 22-year-old woman after she sent a final chilling video to her family on her way home. On Friday, Andell Taylor was driving home from work when her car got stuck in the snow. According to her family, Andel remained trapped inside the car for about 18 hours, meanwhile sending videos to her family. In the video, Andell shows a glimpse of the extravagant blizzard blowing around her.

On Friday at around 4:15 pm, she sent the first video to her family chat group showing the windshields of her car fully wrapped in snow. Her second video was sent after midnight on Christmas Eve, in which Andella lowered her window slightly and showed the violent winter storm condition outside. According to her sister’s statement told to WCOS, Andella, this time, was so scared.
A few hours later, after her second video call, her family lost contact with her. As per her mother, Wanda Brown’s Statement, her daughter called 911 and waited for the rescuers to respond. But unfortunately, when the rescuers could not reach her, she decided to go home on foot. She believes that her daughter died of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Ms Brown, in her statement, said: “I don’t know if any of us knew how serious it was, we didn’t see the news, we didn’t know what was going on in Buffalo,” Rescuers a few hours later found the dead girl inside her car. With his killing by the extreme weather, the death count rose to 28 in the western city of New York state.
Tomeshia Brown Taylor’s sister was annoyed by her sister’s death and raised her frustration, saying:
“I feel like everybody that tried to get to her got stuck. Fire department, police, everybody got stuck,” she said.
“Why didn’t they have chains on their tires? This is a state that is known for snow.”
The family, however, started a GoFundMe page to meet the memorial expenses. So far, more than $1500 has been raised.
