According to his relatives, the missing guy called home yesterday night to claim that a man seeking a dog carjacked and abducted him.
Evan Cockerham Biographical Information:
According to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau, Evan Michael Cockerham was last seen in the 700 block of Silver Spur Road on December 6. Cockerham was described as a 6-foot-tall, 145-pound Caucasian male with brown hair and blue eyes.
Most Recently Spotted:
Evan Michael Cockerham was last seen in the 700 block of Silver Spur Road on December 6, according to LASD. According to a GoFundMe page set up by Cockerham’s brother Tristen Nelson, he made his final phone call home from the Malaga Cove Library to inform his family that a guy seeking a dog had carjacked and abducted him.
“Evan fled when he got the opportunity and proceeded to the closest spot (the library) to make the call,” according to the GoFundMe site. “Since then, he has not been seen or heard from. We suspect that the guy was following him on his way to the library.” The car, according to Nelson, was a white 1990 Plymouth Grand Voyager with a wood grain stripe. Cockerham is a 6-foot-tall Caucasian guy with brown hair and blue eyes. Cockerham is without a phone, wallet, or money, and Nelson expressed concern that his brother is still in danger.
