The French Football team defeated the England team in the quarter-finals and made it to the semifinals against Giantkillers Morocco. This time the Didier Deschamps’side put all its effort to defend its title in Qatar. The French football team if wins become the only third team to win FIFA World Cup crowns back to back. But unfortunately ahead of the semifinals two defending champs of the French team were reportedly hit with illness issues.

According to the report from The Sun, Dayot Upamecano and Adrien Rabiot were forced to skip the training session and also there is a probability that the two may not play the semifinal match against Morocco. Defender Upamecano is said to be suffering from a sore throat while the central midfielder Andrew Rabiot had the symptoms of a cold. Both the players are suffering from intense symptoms of cold but neither is particularly serious.
Both of them have been starting for France in the previous fixtures. Midfielder Adrien Rabiot played in all five matches for the team while defender Upamecano skipped a group stage match against Tunisia.
Ibrahima Konate and Youssouf Fofana are likely to replace Upamecano and Rabiot if they don’t get better. Players’ physical health has become a matter of concern for the Deschamps ahead of the semifinals. Speculations about the other players coming down with similar illnesses have rose tension within the Deschamps. As a result, the starting lineup will be even more destroyed.

Both the teams are looking for the titles as Morocco to become the first team from Africa to make it to the finals in World Cup history while Deschamps is willing to become the first in 60 years to defend the title.
On the other hand, Morocco is also dealing with health issues. The team also has injury concerns relating to skipper Romain Saiss and centre-back Nayef Aguerd. The team coach Walid Regragui during a press conference in Doha, Qatar said-
“We have good doctors and every day we get good news. No one is ruled out and no one is for certain,”
“We’ll use the best team possible.”
The coach said that Morocco’s team spirit and crowd support will take us to the top prize.
