Jalen Kitna, the son of former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Jon Kitna and Jennifer Kitna was arrested on Wednesday for possession of child pornography. Jalen Kitna who is a quarterback at the University of Florida was suspended due to multiple charges on him related to child pornography. On Wednesday The Gainesville Police Department executed a search warrant at Jale Kitna’s residence after receiving a tip that a Discord user distributed a picture of child sexual abuse material through the social media platform. According to the cops Jalen had admitted to sharing the pictures but believed them to be legal as he found them online. When Kitna’s electronic devices were seized they found more images of sexual assault of children. The cops then arrested him and booked him on two charges of distribution of child exploitation material and three charges of possession of child pornography.
The University Athletic Association addresses the arrest –
“We are shocked and saddened to hear of the news involving Jalen Kitna. These are extremely serious charges and the University of Florida and the UAA have zero tolerance for such behaviour. Jalen has been suspended indefinitely from the football program,”
