A young mother from Illinois had allegedly searched on the internet for techniques in order to “get rid” of a child prior to being arraigned for killing her five-month-old daughter. This was mere weeks prior to the death of her child due to blunt force trauma to her head.
Frustrated With Child
Twenty-three-year-old Joslynn Graham was indicted over the course of the weekend with first-degree murder for the death of her daughter, Emery Lyons. This transpired at her Canton house on October 7. During a bond hearing on Tuesday, according to prosecutors, the young woman’s phone had been used multiple times in looking up the phrase “ways to get rid of your child.” Also, witnesses spoke to investigators telling that the woman had been experiencing distress over her kid in the past few weeks.

A judge on Tuesday appointed Graham a public defender. The public defender stated they have the utmost intentions of pleading not guilty. The judge set the bond of the accused woman at $1 million.
Reasoning Behind Annoyance Unknown
According to the county coroner who conducted the autopsy on Lyons, Steve Hines, he thinks that foul play was involved in the murder and added the case should be regarded as a homicide by police officials. Lyons had multiple wounds on her head and her face. The reasoning behind the reported annoyance with the child has yet to be divulged, reported Latin Times.
Imprisonment If Convicted
Graham will undergo between 20 to 60 years of imprisonment if held accountable for the murder accusation. Her next court date is slated for Thursday, reported Week.
