In a published article in Games Radar, ‘Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ will introduce a lot of characters but one that stands out is the man they called ‘The Stranger’. Nori will spot a meteor landing after the first episode and she will quickly realizes that this is not a normal object. It is a very tall man and they named him ‘The Stranger’. But who is he?
There are many speculations that it could be Sauron or the young version of Gandalf. First, it could be Sauron because the series starts in the Second Age when Sauron’s master was defeated and he needs to go into hiding. However, what everyone knows is that he has gone very far.
Second, it could be the young version of Gandalf because the new series has introduced a lot of young versions of characters. Two of them are Galadriel and Elrond. A published article in Screen Rant, points out that this could be Gandalf because he has another name (Olorin) before he appeared in Middle-earth in the third age.
