Who was Tandy Marlin?

Tandy was a Williamson County native who grew up on his family’s generational farm. He graduated from Page High School in 1989. Tandy’s passion for racing began at a young age, with his brother and cousins racing at Duck River Speedway and Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.

In the Nashville Speedway Super Trucks Series, he won two championships in 1998 and 2001. He was unstoppable, winning six races in a row. Tandy won the Nascar Heartland Region Championship in 2001. He also progressed to the ARCA Series, where he raced at circuits in Atlanta, Charlotte, and other large cities.

Christy Boswell Marlin, his beloved and dedicated wife of 31 years; daughters McKinsey Pruitt and husband Lucas and McKayla Marlin and companion; and many other family members survive. Also, the Funeral services will be held at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, with Jason Daniel, Joe Williams, and Bro. Millard Johnson officiating. Williamson Memorial Gardens is where he was laid to rest. Thomas “Bubba” Bennett, Shane Wiley, Jimmy Veach, John Shaw, Gene Reed, Brent Pedrick, Andy Brittain, and Tyler Cordell will serve as active pallbearers.
