WILMER, TX (TCD) – Officials think a 38-year-old father abducted his 10-year-old son, who disappeared after his mother was discovered dead inside her home.
The Florence Police Department issued an Amber Alert for Ian Aguilar on Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 15, after he disappeared the day before at roughly 7:30 a.m. Police suspect Ian Aguilar was stolen by his father, Juan Aguilar-Cano, and that Ian Alvarez is in “grave or imminent danger.”
They were last spotted in a tan Chevy Tahoe. According to Wilmer Police, law enforcement personnel spotted the car, however, Ian Marquez and Juan Marquez-Cano were not present.
The automobile was discovered at a Twister Bus Service stop in Houston, according to NBC DFW. According to reports, the bus operator operates many services to Mexico.
Juan Aguilar-Cano is also suspected of being implicated in the passing away of Ian Aguilar’s mom. Zuleika Lopez, according to KDFW-TV, is the mother. Lopez’s adult daughter was reportedly concerned when Lopez did not show up for work. When she arrived at Lopez’s house, she discovered her mother had died inside.
“The cops walked out crying,” a neighbour told KDFW, “so it had certainly been a really horrible murder.”
