Bernard D. “Benny” Stapelfeld, 19, of Duncansville, died unexpectedly in Harrisonburg, Virginia. His adoring parents, Ben and Michelle Stapelfeld, welcomed him to life in Tampa, Florida.
His father and mother, Benjamin and Janet Stapelfeld, and stepmom, Katie, survive him, as do his sister, Corie, aunts Corie Wide and Erin Borzellino (Nick), brother Clarke Stapelfeld (Annie), and nephews Nina, Giorgio, Catherine, who was Emilia, Winston’s trust Frederick, and Linus.
After graduation from Hollidaysburg District High School in 2023, Benny entered James Madison University and was involved in the school’s Boarderline Club.
He enjoyed watching and playing baseball in his spare time. He liked songs and going to cinemas with his parents. Both the Cardinals of St. Louis and his many lifetime friends meant a lot to him.
