A 30-year-old man was shot and killed in a tragic incident that happened outside Ghost Bar in the Galleria neighbourhood. A man was fatally shot by a gunman who approached his car outside a bar in the Galleria area. He was shot while he was inside his parked car. The incident happened on Richmond Avenue on Wednesday night just before 11:30 p.m. The victim, who had just left the bar, was sitting in his car when the offender approached him from the opposite side of the street, according to the Houston police. The assailant opened fire on the man four to five times without warning.

According to the police, the bar had a number of additional patrons when the shooting occurred. However, one man told ABC13 that at first, nobody in the pub knew anything had happened.
“The DJ plays music so loudly that there wasn’t much panic. That you might not realise something like this is happening until you go outside,” the man said.
HPD Seeks Witnesses and Surveillance Footage in Galleria-Area Shooting Investigation
According to HPD, the victim was with two women who witnessed the incident.
“Yes, we do have witnesses who are also being questioned. In addition to potential surveillance footage that hopefully will show what happened here and identify the suspect so that justice can be served, Lt. I. Izaguirre said.
After firing, the suspect fled eastward on Richmond. The reason for the shooting is unknown, according to the investigators.
The suspected shooter was described in general terms by the investigators. He is described as a light-skinned Black man wearing dark clothing, a bun in his hair, and black and white tennis shoes.
