Crews discovered the body of a fourth person killed in an explosion at a San Antonio construction company on Monday as investigators tried to identify the cause and origin of the incident. The blast occurred late Friday at K-Bar Services and could be heard for miles, according to the San Antonio Express-News. When responders arrived, they discovered one individual deceased, and two more bodies were recovered on Saturday.

What does the Witness Tell?

Witnesses told police that someone was working on a gas line in an underground bunker, but the origin of the South Presa explosion is still unknown. On Monday, arson investigators brought in equipment to dig through the ruins left by a blast heard and felt for miles. The city’s public works department has sent excavators, while the solid trash team has sent mechanics. The local medical examiner first declared three people deceased.

The San Antonio Fire Department continued the investigation on Sunday morning when an additional fatality was verified.

Who are the Victims?

Roger Huron, 36, has been identified as one of the fatalities. Ashley Autobee, 28, has been identified as another suspect. A 57-year-old and a 61-year-old guy were also discovered dead. Their identities have not yet been revealed since they’re next of kin have not been notified. “As the investigation continued, a more victim was discovered, increasing the total number of victims from Friday’s explosion to four,” an SAFD official stated on Sunday. “Operations were hindered today due to the bad weather on Saturday night. Investigators will return to the location tomorrow morning to continue their search for a cause/origin.”
