“Boobie Miles” Miles Adam Sanders, a running back with the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League, was born on May 1, 1997. (NFL). In the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Eagles selected him after playing college football for Penn State. Miles attended the elite Woodland Hills High School in his hometown of Swissvale, Pennsylvania, where he started running three years ago. Swissvale is a community located 9 miles east of downtown Pittsburgh. Sanders chose Penn State over a number of other offers, including one from his hometown team, the Pittsburgh Panthers, after winning the Mr. Football award for Pennsylvania in his senior year and competing in the Under Armor All- America Game.
Miles appeared in 12 games in 2017, one of which was his college entrance. On November 11, 2017, he started his first game against Rutgers. Sanders received the 2018 Red Worrell Award, given to the offensive player during spring training who demonstrated the most outstanding demeanor, loyalty, attention, attitude and progression. He also had three career rushing touchdowns when the game was over. He subsequently received the Big 10 Co-Offensive Player of the Week award.
With 1,274 rushing yards to finish the season, Sanders ranked second in the Big Ten and No. 15 in total, no. 4 in the FBS with 98 rushing yards per game, and no. each. He also ranked sixth in the Big Ten in both all-purpose yards per game and rushing touchdowns (with 9 each) (108.7). On January 3, 2019, Sanders decided to sit out his senior year of college football and enter the NFL Draft.
