Following her terrible death while working at Woolworths last week, a woman from New South Wales is remembered as a “wonderful person” who impacted “many people.” Malerato Harrison was crushed by cleaning equipment that reversed into her at around 7.30 a.m. on Friday, according to police. The emergency services went to the Newcastle store but could not save her. According to Yahoo News Australia, Ms Harrison was working for a third-party cleaning company that provided specialised services for the business. SafeWork NSW and NSW Police are investigating her death.

She was from South Africa and was applying for Australian citizenship, having just passed her exam the days before her death. Malerato was working at Jasmond Central Woolworths in Newcastle, Australia, when she was stomped by reversing equipment.
