Is Cam Talbot Married?
Cam Talbot and Kelly Talbot were hitched. The Cam Talbot and Kelly marriage would make a great 2012 movie. They still seem to be deeply in love and aren’t hesitant to offer one other support and affection after ten years of marriage and two kids. Kelly was reared in Michigan before relocating to Texas, and it seemed only logical that she would be familiar with the sport given that both her father and brother were also hockey players. The two met first through Kelly’s brother, a friend and teammate of Cam’s. According to YEG FITNESS, Kelly was employed in the hospitality sector at the time, while Cam was a student at the University of Alabama-Huntsville. He played professionally for Kelly’s brother Kelly’s hockey team. The couple seldom saw one other because of their busy schedules. Kelly, however, made sure to take as much time as possible when travelling to see Cam. Their perseverance and commitment to one another paid off when they exchanged vows in 2012, and they have been together ever since.
On June 27, 2015, Talbot was traded by the Rangers to the Edmonton Oilers for three picks in the upcoming NHL Entry Draft. Talbot competed with Anders Nilsson for Edmonton’s primary goaltender spot in his debut season with the Oilers. On January 17, 2016, Talbot and the Oilers reached an agreement on a three-year, $12 million contract. Up until Nilsson was eventually traded to the St. Louis Blues, Cam Talbot was Edmonton’s starting goaltender. Grant Fuhr had 40 victories when Talbot passed him on April 6, 2017, setting an Oilers record for the most victories in a season with 41.
