‘The Invitation’ will be released in theaters on August 26 and its official trailer has already been released. The upcoming horror film has gained more than 1 million views in just less than 24 hours. This could be one of the most horrifying movies this year.
The trailer starts when the mother of a young woman named Evie starring Nathalie Emmanuel died. With no known relatives, she took a DNA test and discovers that she has a cousin that she never met. In a published article in The Hollywood News, she soon found out what her family hides from her.
She was invited to a wedding in a lavish house. Evie spend a few days and wondered where the bride was. However, it turned out that it was an audition and she was one of the soon-to-be brides. It was also featured in the trailer the classic tradition of vampires drinking human blood, according to a report published in POLYGON.
