‘Top Gun: Maverick’ has officially earned $1 billion worldwide. So far, this is the second movie that crossed the $1 billion mark during the pandemic time. Additionally, this is also the highest-grossing film for Tom Cruise in his nearly 4 decades of career as an actor.
According to a report published in DEADLINE, it only took 31 days for the ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ to reach $1 billion worldwide. The said amount is composed of an estimated $521.7 million in domestic while $484.7 million from the international market.
Needless to say, this is also the first movie of Tom Cruise that reached the said amount. The report also mentioned that ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ already reached $900 million last Monday.
