Former Captain America star Chris Evans shared during an interview that he would love to play his former role in the MCU’s ‘Fantastic Four’.
Chris Evans To Return in ‘Fantastic Four’
‘Fantastic Four’ is one of the biggest movie franchises of MCU and earned millions across the globe. In fact, Disney regained its rights to the characters from the 20th Century because of its popularity after the solo movies of each character, according to a published article in THE DIRECT.
Meanwhile, Chris Evans first played Johnny Storm before he got the role of Captain America. In his latest interview, he shared his desire to reprise his former role in ‘Fantastic Four’ as Johnny Storm.
He said “Yeah, I guess that’s true. I mean, I guess all bets are off. Yeah. Look, I would love it. I would love it. That would actually be an easier sell to me than coming back as Cap,” However, he clarified that there is no chance anymore for him to play as “Cap” because he is already happy with how his role ended.

Will Chris Evans Return to MCU as Johnny Storm?
It would be exciting to see Chris Evans playing a superhero role again in MCU. 15 years ago, Chris Evans played the character of Johnny Storm alongside Jessica Albas as Invisible Woman and Michael Chiklis as Thing. Though his role as “Cap” in MCU is definitely over but playing as the “Human Torch” will open many possibilities, according to a report published in Comic Book.
Needless to say, the “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” has shown the concept of alternate realities. This could be a door for the “Fantastic Four” and Chris Evans to become a part of the planned MCU superhero family. However, it is still not clear if MCU will use the Multiverse to have this path.
