Amber Heard’s Removal From ‘Aquaman 2’

Amber Heard first claimed during the defamation trial between her and Johnny that her acting career was affected. She said that she had 10 minutes scene only in the sequel of the Aquaman but the production studio of the film said that it is because Amber Heard’s character, Mera, lacks chemistry with Jason Momoa (Aquaman).

In a published article in Epic Stream, it was reported that Amber Heard’s scene was completely deleted in the final cut of the Aquaman 2. There are rumors also and a general belief that Amber Heard’s days in the franchise are numbered.

However, these are still rumors and not yet confirmed reports. The DC or even the production team of the ‘Aquaman’ did not yet release official statements about this matter. It can also be remembered that Amber Heard said during the trial that she was released from the contract and she was still in the sequel because she fought for it.

Petition To Remove Amber Heard from the ‘Aquaman 2’

An online petition on the website Change.org titled “Removed Amber Heard from Aquaman 2” received millions of signatures. At the time of writing, it has already reached around 4.5 million signatures, according to a published article in NEWSWEEK.

Meanwhile, another call to replace her from the ‘Aquaman 2’ was initiated days after the verdict of her trial. The petition was called by Johnny Depp’s attorney, Camille Vasquez.

Needless to say, Amber Heard right now is still confused and asked herself if she will still be part of the final cut of the ‘Aquaman 2’. It’s still too early to conclude if her scenes were really completely deleted unless the DC and the production team of ‘Aquaman’ will release official statements.
