Our family enjoys feta cheese with Greek meatball skewers and strawberry salad (my favourite!). Never had feta alone.

In 2021, I visited Greece, where the food was even fantastic than the vistas. Feta is offered in everything, but also alone.

This easy baked feta recipe lets the cheese's taste shine. Add other ingredients for a varied flavour.

This baked feta cheese is a tasty appetiser or side dish. It goes well with zucchini.

Baked Feta Recipe A classic Greek recipe for baked feta with olive oil, tomatoes, and oregano. We eat it with vegetables and pita chips or grain-free crackers.

INGREDIENTS – 8 oz block of feta (preferably sheep milk feta) – 1 cup cherry tomatoes or grape tomatoes – 1 tsp dried oregano – ¼ cup olive oilTo serve – sliced vegetables – pita bread, pita chips, or grain-free crackers

INSTRUCTIONS – Preheat the oven to 400°F. – Place the feta in the middle of a small oven-safe baking dish. – Arrange the tomatoes around the outside of the feta and sprinkle the dried oregano over the top.

Drizzle the olive oil over everything. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the tomatoes wilt and the feta browns. Feta doesn't melt. Serve with pita chips, grain-free chips, pita bread, or vegetables.
