Netflix Announces ‘The Takedown’ As Its New Action Film
In a published article in Netflix Life, De l’autre côté du périph, sometimes known as On the Other Side of the Tracks, was a 2012 French film. Stéphane Kazandjian wrote the script, which Lupin’s Louis Leterrier directed. A slew of new series and movies are being teased by Netflix all year long. The ‘Takedown’ was featured in the streamer’s 2022 French-language originals slate. However, nothing was known about the impending action picture at the time of its announcement.

Ousmane Diakité and François Monge, two French detectives from very different backgrounds, reconnect for a fresh investigation in France. However, Ousmane and François find themselves embroiled in a far more complex criminal inquiry than they bargained for.
Both Ousmane Diakité (Omar Sy) and François Monge (Laurent Lafitte) are officers, yet they are worlds apart in terms of personalities, training, and experiences.
