Two toddlers were discovered dead after emergency services were summoned to a home in East London. At around 2 p.m. on Friday, 16 December, the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service were called to an address on Cornwallis Road in Dagenham. They discovered the remains of two-year-old and five-year-old boys, who were confirmed dead at the site. A woman was arrested shortly after the incident in connection with it. She was arrested when police were summoned to a disturbance near where the remains were discovered. In connection with the event, a guy was apprehended near the location. The man and lady, known to both children, are still being held by police.

On Friday, 16 December, at about 2:00 p.m., the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service were dispatched to a location on Cornwallis Road in Dagenham.
