For the first time, the oil worker murder suspect accused of bashing his colleague to death on a Qatar oil rig has been photographed. Let us learn more about Scott Forest and the incident that occurred.
Who is Scott Forrest?
Scott Forrest, 43, is accused of snapping and attacking his roommate with a breathing apparatus tank. The man, from Scotland, is being arrested in Qatar by police as part of a murder investigation. He was discovered dead on board the oil rig in the Persian Gulf by a coworker who was believed to have also been attacked. According to his LinkedIn profile, he attended Aberdeen, Banff, and Buchan colleges. He spent significant periods in the North Sea before becoming a freelancer, travelling wherever the contracts and money were. He worked for a Thai corporation a year before heading to Qatar and the Seafox Burj rig. When former coworkers heard what had transpired, they couldn’t believe it.
Attempting to Flee in a Helicopter:
The two contractors were reportedly floating on the Seafox Burj platform off the coast of Qatar when one of them allegedly killed the other with a diving air tank. It can be seen on the ground in an alleged incident photo, with a mattress covering the cabin’s front door. According to accounts, the suspect escaped the platform by helicopter following the incident in the early hours of Monday, burying the body in one of their bathrooms. However, according to what is known, a third employee became suspicious and discovered the body before he could flee.
When he discovered the body, he was suspicious:
“The guy became suspicious when he spotted the deceased and began looking for his friend.” Everything became insane, and the person who (allegedly) murdered him jumped the other person, hit him in the head, and then strangled him. “Fortunately, three men in the next room heard the ruckus and pushed the door open.” After a struggle, they ejected the assailant and yelled for aid.
Officials and Doctors Arrived:
Police and medical personnel arrived by helicopter, and a suspect was apprehended. The three guys work for Film-Ocean, a company that uses remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) to inspect oil pipelines and other subaquatic infrastructure. The alleged killer, injured man, and deceased man are all from Aberdeen, whereas the murder victim is from the North East of England. According to Film-Ocean, a deadly accident occurred at 1.40 a.m. on Monday, and another person was injured. They also confirmed that Qatari police had apprehended a man. Scott Forrest is currently being held by Middle Eastern officials and may be executed soon. “We’re astonished,” a melancholy relative stated tonight at the Maud family home in Aberdeenshire. Scott and I haven’t spoken since everything happened.
Former coworkers’ thoughts on Scott:
Former employees were shocked to learn what had happened. “Shocked” is an understatement, according to one person. He was my supervisor, and he was a pleasant individual. In a million years, I never imagined he’d be involved in something like this. He was respectable and exciting. What in the world was going on there? Scott is accused of murdering a coworker. He asked to be removed because he had a family issue and intended to toss the corpse over the ledge. He allegedly whacked Chris Begley in the head with a pipe as he staggered into the scene. According to one worker, living conditions on oil rigs in the Middle East are higher than those seen closer to home.
