Who is Ng Zhi Yong?

Ng Zhi Yong, a 23-year-old Malaysian, was in a terrifying vehicle accident last week. The young man, born in 1999, worked as an operator in a milk bottle factory in Singapore. The deceased, Ng Zhi Yong, is the family’s sole child. Ng and his father have been relying on one another since their mothers and father died a few years ago. He was supposedly his family’s lone child. On the day of his death, Yong was working in Singapore and was due to return to his home in Kota Masai, Malaysia. He was in an accident barely 5 minutes from his home, where his family was expecting him.

How did the Malayasian Worker Ng Zhi Yong Die?

Ng Zhi Yong was killed in a car accident on his way home from work on Thursday, December 8, 2022. He was riding his motorcycle home from work. Unfortunately, the young man was involved in an accident only five minutes from his house in Pasir Gudang. The accident occurred between 12 and 1 PM on the Pasir Gudang Highway from Taman Johor Jaya to Taman Megah Ria, Masai. According to sources, Yong’s bike collided with a pick-up vehicle, forcing him to be dragged from beneath the truck. Police and medical staff rushed to the accident scene. Emergency personnel had to utilise specialised equipment to extract the man from beneath the car.

Tragic Accident:

Friends of a Malaysian worker, who died in a car accident in his Pasir Gudang home, are demanding CCTV footage to shed light on the circumstances of the tragedy. According to Malaysian news agency China Press, the accident happened on Thursday, December 8, between 12 and 1 p.m. on Pasir Gudang Highway as it proceeded from Taman Johor Jaya to Taman Megah Ria, Masai. Unfortunately, Ng was involved in an accident that took his life just five minutes before he could return home to meet his cherished mother. When the accident occurred, Ng was still dressed in his corporate clothes. Ms Chua, Ng’s closest friend, spoke to the reporter. According to some onlookers at the scene, the victim was dragged under a pick-up truck before the firefighting crew came and pulled him out.

Fire and Rescue Department Statement:

According to a spokeswoman for the Johor Fire and Rescue Department, the accident included a pick-up truck and a motorcycle and was reported at 12:49 p.m. on December 8th. They think the victim was dragged beneath the pick-up when it crashed and collided with it. The firefighters used equipment to extricate the man from underneath the car, and after receiving first aid on the scene, he was transferred to the hospital immediately. The pick-up driver, a 40-year-old Bangladeshi male, was unharmed in the crash. “Zhi Yong was saved while he was still conscious. His mother called him immediately and asked why he hadn’t gone home.

Doctors Tried To Save Ng Zhi Yong:

Unfortunately, Zhi Yong died at 6 p.m. that day, despite medical personnel’s best efforts to transfuse blood and save his life. According to Ms Chua’s Facebook post, “we urgently need to know how the vehicle accident happened, else there will be no proof for investigation.” She suspected Ng had been hit by a car before the internal bleeding began. Ng died in the hospital after putting forth so much effort. Families and friends are devastated by the occurrence. Ng, a Malaysian worker, was cremated on December 11. Ms Chua asked that any witnesses or anyone who may have filmed the collision on their dashcam contact them at 019-799 7999 so that they may provide more information.
