The Netflix action comedy movie ” The Big 4″ centers on a group of four trained vigilante assassins starring Abimana Aryasatya(Topan), Arie Kriting(Jenggo), Kristo Immanuel(Pelor), and Lutesha(Alpha). The Indonesian movie explores and revolves around the life of four trained assassins who are forced to run away after their mentor, Petrus is murdered by a former student. They all four hide on an Island until Petrus’s daughter, Dina makes her way to the Island looking for answers about her father’s death.
The Netflix movie is filled with revenge, violence, and nail-biting action sequences that keep the viewers connected. Apart from the violence the movie also displays some good themes including the unity between siblings and revenge for loved ones’ death. The movie had lots of twists and turns and at the same time is mysterious when it reaches the end. Let’s take a quick short summary of the Indonesia movie The Big 4.

Summary of the Movie “The Big 4”
The movie centers on the four assassins who are trained by Petrus to bring down evil people and organizations. Petrus to provide justice to the innocent people trained the four assassins but somehow neglects his own biological daughter, Dina. Dina later becomes a police officer and when she returned home she found her father died. She then decided to find the suspect in her father’s death. After three years Dina finds a photograph that featured her father with four little assassins and sees the mention of Bersi. She then decided to go there to find her answers. Dina on her way to Paranais Villa followed by gunmen, Topan then deals with the gunmen. Topan and Dina with Jenggo and Pelor get together to deal with the situation carefully and had a massive fight with the gunmen who now become large in number. Later it was revealed that the gunmen belongs to Antonio, a cold-blooded killer. They somehow managed to keep them safe from Antonio’s hands and went to Alpha to get more weapons but could not succeed in hiding as Antonio find the Big 4 and Dina soon after.

Petrus in the first act of the movie was killed by a suspect in a helmet. The mystery continues during the movie until the end when the murderer is finally revealed. Initially, Antonio admits to killing Petrus in cold blood. He tells Topan that Petrus trained him once but later dumped him when he finds Antonio was not who Petrus wanted him to be. Petrus soon realized his mistake as Antonio had no mercy or compassion or he could kill anyone he wanted without a reason. Antonio wanted to be in the Big 4 but due to his unlawful practices, Petrus dumped him, so as to take revenge Antonio admits to killing Petrus. But later it was revealed that Hassan the boss of Antonio ordered him to the murder. Hassan was a police captain and Dina’s boss and also a very good friend of Petrus. Hassan betrays his friend Petrus may be because he dislikes Petrus training kids to become assassins.
