Jennifer Katherine Gates, the oldest daughter of billionaire businessman Bill and Melinda French Gates, tied the knot on Saturday in her $16 million estate in North Salem, New York, with her Egyptian Equestrian Fiancé Nayel Nassar.
They announced their engagement back in January 2020 in an Instagram post where she wrote a sweet message for her fiancé now husband, Nayel Nassar.
According to PEOPLE, Nayel Nassar was born in the US to millionaire parents who ran an architecture and design firm in the U.S. and was raised in Kuwait. It is very much evident that, like Jennifer, he had a ‘wealthy upbringing.’

Nassar is an athlete that began his career when he was just a five year old He had already started doing sport, and by the age of 10, he was already jumping. Nassar is an accomplished Egyptian equestrian who competed in the Tokyo Olympics, marking the first time in 61 years that a team of equestrians from Egypt had qualified for the Olympics.
He is ranked 44 in the world with a total of 48 jumping competitions and he already won countless awards in competitions such as Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Las Vegas, Las Vegas National Horse Show Winning Round CSI 3*, Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Del Mar, New York Masters CSI5* Grand Prix, and Rabat CSIO4* Designated Olympic Qualifier
The 25-year old blushing bride walked down the aisle in her custom-made gown by a renowned designer Vera Wang, in the arms of her loving parents Bill and Melinda French Gates. According to DailyMail, the couple has already been married in a private muslin ceremony on Friday night.

Just Got Married
They were seen posing for the camera in their suit and gown and lovingly held each other as the cameras were capturing their images. The bride was seen clutching a beautiful and simple white flower bouquet and had her hair half down and up. Guests began to gather at precisely 3 p.m. to witness the couple’s wedding civil ceremony, according to DailyMail.
The parents, Bill and Melinda, were seen wearing a dark suit and a purple dress. At 5 p.m., guests’ cheers can be heard as the couple has finally tied the knot. Bill and Melinda can be seen smiling widely as they look at the happy couple. This was the first time Bill and Melinda Gates being seen together after their divorce.
There are 300 guests invited, and some of them are prominent figures in the business world, one of them being Georgina Bloomberg, the daughter of Michael Bloomberg, former mayor of New York City, and the founder of Bloomberg LP. She is the owner of an equestrian team New York Empire.
DailyMail also noted that the famous band Coldplay performed at the reception.
