Diego Lainez Leyva is a Mexican professional football player who competes for both the Mexico national team and Primeira Liga club Braga on loan from Real Betis. He was born on June 9, 2000.

On October 20, after fully recovering from his injury, he scored his first goal while playing at Estadio Azteca as América beat Tijuana 3-0. Lainez became the youngest player to ever score two goals against Universidad Nacional in the Apertura semifinal series.
