Cole Brings Plenty, an actor in Paramount+’s 1923 who was reported missing earlier this week, has died. He was 27. The body of 1923 actor Cole Brings Plenty was discovered in Kansas, days after he was named a suspect in a domestic violence case and reported missing, authorities said.
The Johnson County, Kansas sheriff’s office shared in a news release that deputies were called to Homestead Lane at approximately 11:45 a.m. Friday about an unoccupied vehicle. “Deputies checked the area and discovered a deceased male in a wooded area away from the vehicle,” the sheriff’s office wrote in the release, noting that the car was discovered at the area of 200th and Homestead Lane. “The deceased male has been identified as Cole Brings Plenty, 27.” Authorities said they were searching the area when they “discovered a deceased male in a wooded area away from the vehicle,” who was later identified as Cole.
Brings Plenty, known for his role as sheepherder Pete Plenty Clouds in the show “1923” and nephew of “Yellowstone” star Mo Brings Plenty, was initially reported missing on April 2.
Mo, aged 54, took to Instagram to share a missing person poster of his nephew, stating that Cole was last seen driving a white Ford Explorer on Sunday evening. The poster highlighted his absence from a scheduled appointment with his agent for a TV show, which was described as “uncharacteristic” behavior, leading to concerns from his family.
Shortly after the “Yellowstone” star posted the missing person poster, the Lawrence Police Department issued a statement naming Cole as a suspect in a domestic violence case.
