CMT Awards 2024 held in Austin, Texas at Sunday night

C.M.T. Awards is the country’s biggest music stars’ gathering, and it takes place on Sunday nights to honor the best in country music videos and television performances. This show was held in Austin, Texas, at the Moody Center. It was then broadcast on C.B.S. television and streamed live on Paramount+.

Kelsea Ballerini was the host of the ceremony for the fourth time, as Lainey Wilson, Megan Moroney, and Cody Johnson JellyRoll came into the night tied for the most nominations, with three each. Jelly Roll would sweep all three categories he was nominated in.

CMT Awards 2024 held in Austin, Texas

C.M.T. Music Awards winners are determined entirely by fan vote, and voting for the Video of the Year award remained open throughout Sunday night’s show. Initially, 16 nominees were announced for Video of the Year, but on April 1, the field was whittled down to six based on voting. The final three nominees — Johnson, Jelly Roll, and Ballerini — were announced on the day of the show.
