Reality TV star Megan McKenna – who has appeared on shows including The Only Way is Essex (Towie) and Celebrity Big Brother – has announced she is expecting her first child.
The star announced last year that she was engaged to professional footballer Oliver Burke and has now taken to Instagram to announce that the pair were expecting their first child.
Friends and followers congratulated in the comment section to share their congratulations, including Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby, who herself is mum to daughter Alba.
The post was filled with comments from famous faces, with current Towie star Sophie Kasaei writing: “Oh my god Megan, this is unbelievable you going to be the best mummy! Congratulations.”
Amy Childs, who appeared on Towiewith Megan back in 2010, also sent her congratulations, while Love Island star Maura Higgins wrote: “Omg!! congratulations to you both this is incredible.”
Megan, who last appeared on TOWIE in 2017, had a health scare in November after complications following stomach surgery, with the star updating her followers on social media following the incident.
“I know I told you all I was recovering last week; I had a small procedure in my belly last Monday, which has led to some complications inside,” she wrote at the time. “It’s very painful & so uncomfortable to move. It got worse [on] Thursday, and I was admitted to the hospital [on] Friday.
